For several years, the Zbigniew Seifert Foundation has organized concerts for the winners of the Zbigniew Seifert International Jazz Violin Competition and worked to popularize the music of this outstanding violinist. The anniversary of his 75th birthday saw the culmination of these activities in the form of the Seifert Jazz Days festival, held July 21-23 at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Center in Luslawice (and online).

The first evening of Seifert Jazz Days opened with a performance by 2018 Seifert Competition finalist violinist Marcin Halat with his acoustic trio and his OWL original project. Moments later, the esteemed RGG band performed on the stage of the European Music Center in Luslawice, which specially for the occasion prepared a premiere program dedicated to and inspired by Seifert’s music.
