"The notes you receive are the result of my passion for the music of Zbigniew Seifert. Practically from the very beginning of my adventure with jazz I was fascinated by "Zbiggi's" playing, and his compositions were exceptionally close to my heart. I wrote down most of the pieces many years ago and, as a violinist myself, I loved to play them, and I recorded some of them on my CDs.

In preparing for this edition, I was very keen to make the notes readable for all jazz musicians. My goal was to simplify the notation to the maximum and make it similar to the notation used for jazz standards in some Real Books. (...) I hope that the prepared musical material will be helpful and become a source of inspiration in performing Zbigniew Seifert's music."
